According to NPD Group’s research, breakfast visits increased by 3 percent in 2013. The NDP Group also conducted the “A Look into the Future of Foodservice” study which forecasts that breakfast visits will increase by 7 percent within the next 9 years. While QSRs, which account for 80 percent of the breakfast industry, are set to gain a 9 percent increase within the next 9 years as well.
